What each tool solves

GTO Wizard computes and stores equilibrium solutions: strategies in which neither player can gain by deviating. That is the right answer to "how do I play so that nobody can exploit me", and it is the foundation of modern poker study. Its library covers millions of spots, with a trainer, a hand history analyzer and aggregated reports on top.

GTOkiller answers a different question: given how this pool actually plays, which line makes the most money? The opponent is not a perfect clone but a statistical model built from millions of real hands of a specific site, stake and player profile. The engine fixes that model and optimizes only our side of the tree, keeping a solid base wherever the pool's deviation is marginal.

Both are solvers, but they are not substitutes. One tells you what balanced play looks like. The other tells you where, and by how much, to deviate from it against a specific population.

Exploiting the pool: node locking vs population data

GTO Wizard's exploit tools are node locking and player profiles, available on the Elite tier ($169 per month, or $139 billed annually). You set a frequency in one node by hand, or pick a profile such as "calling station", and the solver recomputes assuming that behaviour. The frequency is your guess; the tool does not know how the pool plays.

GTO Wizard documents a second limit of its exploit layer:

“Keep in mind that GTO Wizard AI only solves one street at a time. This is what empowers our technology to solve spots in seconds rather than hours. For example, flop exploits will assume perfect play on future streets with the proceeding ranges, even if those streets are nodelocked.”

GTOkiller does not ask you to guess frequencies. Each of the roughly 500,000 nodes of the tree carries the real frequency measured in the pool, and the whole tree is solved at once. If the pool overfolds the flop and overbluffs the turn, the engine can check the flop to let them bluff, a line a single-node lock cannot find because it assumes perfect play after the locked node.

The trade-off is coverage. A presolved exploitative tree needs a large sample per meta, so GTOkiller ships one meta at a time and cannot solve an arbitrary custom spot the way GTO Wizard's AI solver can.

To use exploits in GTO Wizard you need Elite. GTOkiller's exploitative output is the product itself, so it is included from the Free plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is GTOkiller a GTO solver?

No. GTOkiller is an exploitative solver: its input is the measured behaviour of a real population and its output is the strategy that maximizes EV against that population. The GTO line is shown next to it as a reference, but it is not the product.

Does GTOkiller replace GTO Wizard?

For 6-max NLHE cash at the metas it covers, GTOkiller answers a question GTO Wizard does not: how to exploit that specific pool. For tournaments, PLO, ICM or custom spots with your own ranges, GTO Wizard remains the tool.

Which one is cheaper?

Both have a free plan. GTOkiller Edge costs 39 EUR or 49 USD per month against GTO Wizard Starter at $49 ($39 billed annually). For exploit features the gap is larger: GTOkiller Killer costs 79 EUR or 99 USD per month, while node locking in GTO Wizard requires Elite at $169 ($139 billed annually).

Does GTO Wizard use real population data?

No. Its solutions are equilibrium strategies. Player profiles are theoretical archetypes and node locks are frequencies the user enters by hand. GTOkiller's opponent model is measured from millions of real hands of the target pool.

Can I solve my own spots in GTOkiller?

No. Each meta is a presolved tree of about 500,000 nodes. You can open any board and any node of that tree, but you cannot change ranges, stacks or bet sizes. GTO Wizard's AI solver does allow that on Elite and above.
